Promote to your clients
Introducing this valuable tool to your clients is crucial. Since the closing process can be overwhelming, utilize the time you put aside every month for your First Payment Calls to talk about Homebot.
Rebecca Hansen, Branch Manager, CO on how she promotes Homebot to her clients as free gift.
Love the idea, but want to automate this to go out on time each month? Consider Outreach.
Actually read those email notifications
From every module, your past clients will engage with you a variety of wealth-building opportunities! You’ll get an email from Homebot that includes the client, the question, and a link to view the client in Homebot. To start the conversation with your client, simply reply to the email, here are a few samples of what those emails look like:
Note: Do not delete these messages as there is no message center in your Homebot account.
Promote your personal Homebot link
If you don't get the word out about your Homebot, how will people know? It is important to share your personal links to your leads and sphere of influence. Here are a few ways that you can get the word out and grow your Homebot database.
- Create a QR code and advertise on everything relevant
- Add the Homebot banner to your Outlook signature
- Make sure you have the Homebot Widget on your Guild website
- Promote on Homebot on Social Media
- Open houses
- Using it in email campaigns
- Having people sign up through it for giveaways
💡 Bonus Tip: Add your Homebot to your phone to make it even easier to share your pages. Click here for iPhone and click here for Android.

💡 Bonus Tip: Signed up for Engage or BombBomb? Copy your personal agent invite link and include in an email blast to your partners. You can even customize your personal agent landing page, here's how. Once you have invited your agents, learn how to manage them.
Using integrations
Homebot POWER UPs provide you with the ability to integrate Homebot with your favorite tools and gives you additional tools to drive great results with Homebot:
Video Manager
As a Loan Officer, Homebot Video Manager enables you to provide personal and custom videos throughout Homebot for your buyers and clients to see as they navigate the platform. Note, we do have preloaded videos that are sent to your clients on your behalf through their digest. Check out Homebot Video Manager article for more information and strategies to use Video Manager.
Homebot + Mortgage Coach integration
Maximize your refi strategy and streamline your Mortgage Coach Total Cost Analysis (TCA) workflow. When a client is exploring a refi scenario in Homebot and need a detailed breakdown, they can request a TCA with the click of a button. The TCA is then automatically generated and you are notified via text and email. (Click here to see how it works in detail)

💡 PRO TIP: Make the most of your Mortgage Coach integration, like automating TCA's, using this article!
Homebot + BombBomb Integration
Record and send your clients a personalized video about their digest or markets. Learn these strategies --> How to Make the Most of BombBomb
🎥 Example of Aaron's BombBomb video and embedding the BombBomb video into Homebot for homeowners or buyers. Try to keep the video under 2 minutes when you send a blast video through Homebot.
Video Email
Allows for you to send video emails to all of your clients at once by type, on a weekly basis! This is what Aaron Gordon shared above using BombBomb, but sent through Video Email to send to all his clients. See an example video here.
Instant Offer Interest
Stay one step ahead of iBuyer platforms by educating your clients about the pros and cons of instant offers, all while keeping them as your lead. Use their interest in instant offers as a signal that they are looking at alternative selling options and as an indication that you should reach out!
Connecting this power up will add a new button below your clients’ home value. This button opens a page that discusses instant offers and displays a video created by Homebot. Once enabled, add your own video that speaks to your strategy with iBuyer platforms. Enable Instant Offer here: Homebot Instant Offer
Homebot Home Search
Homebot Home Search allows your clients to browse homes for sale with a smarter, simpler twist: They'll see personalized insights on each property so they make decisions with confidence. Each listing's financial insights are calculated from the client's budget and current market data, making it easy and fun to understand affordability and if a home is a smart purchase.
Add your buyers into your Homebot
Keep in contact with you leads during their home search by adding them to Homebot. Your agents that you are comarketing on your account with, will love you for this. Why? The buyers can look at houses that are currently on the MLS, and both you and your agent are displayed so you are top of mind during their search.
After adding their information, they'll receive a welcome email followed by their first buyer's report, where we'll help them set up their buyer profile and collect the following information:
- Location: city they'd like to buy
- Goal: buy a different home, invest in real estate, explore markets, purchase first home
- Timeline: when they'd like to buy
- What matters most: popular market, a bigger house, cheaper buy, fast move
- Price point: the amount their willing to spend
🎥 Ryan Erekson, Sales Manager, shares how he enters a lead into Homebot and how the home search works for your buyers.
(Note, this video was recorded prior to the new Home Search, but the tactics still apply. Ryan doesn't put the buyer lead as prequalified until they are officially prequalified. Once he has prequalified them, it will show on the buyers account, and if the buyer selects a home outside the prequalified price, it will tell them they are not prequalified for that price point. Here's how to Add a Pre-Qual to Your Buyer Leads)
Check out this article to see what it's like from your client's point of view: Buyers From Your Clients Point of View
💡 Pro Tip: Set your buyers up for success by adding a customized welcome video to the buyer's walking them through each part of the buyer's report. Once you've crafted your video, using your own buyer's report as the example, upload it to Video Email for Buyers to send to all valid buyer accounts. Here's an example.
Tracking your Clients' Behavior
You can track when your clients are engaging with their Homebot report by seeing if they have opened it, viewed it, or even played around in specific modules. Be to sure to check out your Activity Dashboard The average open rate each month is ~60% and the average engagement rate is ~50%! See below for what this looks like.

Understanding CMAs & How to Leverage
Homeowners have the ability to request a CMA through the "Tune Your Value" module in their digest. Learn how that works here. Because homeowners typically work with a Real Estate Agent to complete their CMA, Loan Officers can easily assign inbound CMA requests to their co-sponsored Real Estate Agents in Homebot. If you’re a Loan Officer, learn how to hand off CMA requests here. Don't have your partner in Homebot? Look your client up in Salesforce/Guild360 and look for the agent that was on the transaction. Reach out to them and let them know about some opportunities.Learn how to leverage CMAs here
Turning Your Issues Tab Into a Call List
Engage inactive clients, clients with invalid emails, and even those who have unsubscribed.
Let your prospect or client know that you are offering a free tool that allows them to track their home wealth month over month and discover potential refinance and purchase opportunities.
